How We Started
A Contractor Who Got Tired of Cutting Corners.
Renovatons was founded in 2009 by Marcus Reid, a third-generation tradesman who spent a decade working for large Toronto contractors before growing frustrated with the industry's race to the bottom. Too many projects were won on low bids and delivered with compromises the homeowner never agreed to.
Marcus started Renovatons with a simple premise: charge a fair price, do the work properly, and treat every home as if it were your own. That philosophy attracted a small, loyal client base in Rosedale and Forest Hill — and word spread from there.
Today, Renovatons completes 20–25 projects per year across Toronto's most discerning neighbourhoods. We've never taken on more work than we can do well. We never will.

Fixed-price contracts
Our quotes are detailed and binding. We've never issued a surprise change order for work that was in the original scope.

Some contractors skip permits to save time. We never do. Unpermitted work can void your insurance and kill a home sale.
Post-project warranty
Two-year workmanship warranty on every project, backed in writing. If something isn't right, we come back and fix it.
